MEGAN METZGER
Founder & Ceo
HELM was founded by Megan Metzger, a domestic staffing industry expert. Drawing from her extensive experience in the consulting business through Megan Metzger Consulting (MMC), Megan recognized a common problem plaguing agency owners—the confusion surrounding finances and the daunting nature of bookkeeping tasks. Far too often, business owners find themselves guessing at their business' performance as a result of delayed or premature hiring decisions, inadequate or excessive self-compensation, insufficient savings, and unexpected tax bills year after year.
Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit, Megan embarked on a mission to find the perfect solution for her clients. However, she quickly discovered that the market lacked diligent, knowledgeable, and affordable professionals who understand the intricacies of the domestic staffing industry, an industry close to Megan's heart due to her own business, Preferred ChildCare (PCC).
UNDETERRED, MEGAN TOOK MATTERS INTO HER OWN HANDS.
Today, Megan leads an exceptional team of bookkeeping professionals at HELM including certified CPAs, QuickBooks Pro Advisors, and experienced CFOs. Together, they handle the crucial tasks required for maintaining accurate financial records.
Please don’t worry, Megan is not doing the bookkeeping! As a trusted advisor, she actively engages with HELM clients, helping them gain a comprehensive understanding of their agency's finances and empowering them to make strategic changes that propel them toward their goals.
When Megan is not working, she is a self-proclaimed foodie, loves to travel internationally, and adores spending time with her four children—Hunter, Emma, Lily, & Mason (HELM).
